Asian Games Men’s T20I will feature 15 teams. The tournament w💞ill kick-off on 27th September and the final match will take place on 7th October, 2023 at Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field in Hangzhou.
Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have won the gold medal in Cricket in Asian Games before. The men’s Indian cricket team will be participating in the tournament for the first time and the BCCI will send a second-string team squadꦑ which will be led by top-order batter Ruturaj Gaikwad.

A total of 15 nations will participate in the Men’s T20I cricket tournament in the Hangzhou Asian Games. Top 4 teams - India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have been seeded from the ICC T20I teams rankings. The rest 11 teams will play the group stage round and these top 4 teams will qualify straight 🥀to the qua𒁃rter finals.

Coming t♉o the tournament f𒉰ormat, there will be 15 teams out of which 4 teams have been given the ticket straight to the quarter finals.
After the end of the groupℱ stage, the top team from each group will advance to the quarter finals to face the top teams - India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
The winners of the 4 quarter finals will advance to the �♎�semi-finals.
The semi-finals will decide the 2 finalists who will face each other on 7th October to win the gold medal. The runner-up team will ✃be awarded the silver meဣdal.
The 2 losing teams from the semi-finals will fight each other for the bꦇronze medal o𒁏n 7th October.
